“Having sick sex all the time, with the same chick every night”
Sorry, it technically isn’t Gospel, but I love Alex Gladwell, the lyricism is just fantastic. Pure Brilliance, this song is one of the best I’ve heard in a while, it’s humorous in a downbeat cynical way, accompanied with its brilliant backing beat.
Alex Gladwell – Gospel
Also, posting today this awesome Animal Collective song from their 2008 EP, Water Curses, for those who haven’t heard it;
Animal Collective – Street Flash
There you go. Have fun.

The colour (yeah, the proper english spelling, bitches!) gray is probably my favourite colour right now. Light gray, I’m just royally into wearing light gray clothes for no particular reason. Wore three items with gray fabric, plus my plimsol/boat shoes are also gray material. It fits the season I think, what the weather is like and my impartial view on most things. Swine flu? pah. It’s probably a load of bollocks but then again, I have a fear. It’d be utterly shit for it to spread. We’ll have to see how it pans out.
Any way, I’m going to post a few songs I think that sort of come across as gray songs to me. Neither really negative or positive, but not in any way bland.
Alex Gladwell – Ain’t that the Way
Not heard much about this guy other than hearing his album, this song is ridiculously mellow in my mind.
Grizzly Bear – Two Weeks
Veckatimest isn’t out yet, but it’s amazingly good. A definite buy, I’m looking forward to it’s May 23rd (is it?) release.
Grand Atlantic – Single Ladies
A good cover, but it completely drains all the emotion from the song, I’m unsure whether that’s a good or bad thing.
Ta ra.
